P•ink, the new digital printing era is here
Ozzano dell'Emilia (Bologna, Italy), 15 April 2021 - Pelliconi launches its brand new e-shop, which offers the possibility of purchasing customisable caps, even in small batches, that users can personalise online. The historic Italian company, world leader in the production of closures, has developed a new technology for digital printing on metal caps and has created a dedicated commercial strategy, based mainly on online digital channels.

The technology developed and patented subverts the traditional logic of economies of scale that governs the production process of the iconic crown cap, which has always been optimised for production in very large quantities. Pelliconi has therefore invested in innovating this dynamic by developing a digital printing technology. This solution, already widely used in other sectors, is now also becoming a reality in the world of metal packaging, offering countless opportunities for customisation.

In order to introduce this innovative service to the market, Pelliconi created a new brand, called P•ink. This offers the possibility of giving the cap its own personality even for small and medium-sized craft breweries (a sector that is exponentially growing), which until yesterday mainly used plain caps. But not only that, private homebrewers also have flexibility that was not possible before.
Creating and printing an infinite number of different graphics becomes easily accessible to everyone thanks to this new international e-commerce. The platform will not only allow the customer to choose among different types of products, as well as different quantities (from 50 to 100,000 caps), but also and above all a considerable level of customisation, playing on the motto: the top of the crown is your playground.

Thanks to a user-friendly 3D configurator, customers can make purchases according to their needs in just a few steps: upload of image and/or text, customisation, preview of the configured cap, and selection of the quantity of caps required. However, the customisation does not stop here. In fact, it is possible to select some special effects, such as embossed/debossed surfaces, and to contact the company for any request: the only limit is the imagination. To complete the service, it is also be possible to personalise the bottle labels and obtain packaging that is finally customised from head to toe, even in small quantities and with just a few convenient and fun clicks. A rush production option will also be added for companies and individuals wishing to carry out last-minute campaigns.

Thanks to any operating suggestions that have been put forward, the service wants to succeed in the difficult task of inspiring customers and above all making a notoriously industrial product usable even for non-experts.
